Summer/Fall Interview OOTD

Coral Blazer for an Interview...
I pondered for days on what to wear for an interview I had, as I'm sure many often struggle to do with. I decided to opt for a pop of color, as many should know by now, of coral. It's a great way to bring life to what can be dull and neutral colors of black or grey, which are the colors I gravitate towards for clothing, if not accentuated with vibrant pieces and accessories.

Outfit:

Coral cropped blazer: Rachel Roy
Black tank: Forever 21
Black Skinny Jeans: Agaci
Black leather belt: Milos
Patent nude heels: Jimmy Choo Agnes Pump

Hair: Straightened some pieces here and there (GHD 1-in. Straightener) and curled others for a more disheveled look and finished it off with a bit of John Frieda Moisture Barrier Firm Hold Hairspray to keep those gnarly baby hairs in place throughout the day.

Base Makeup:

Foundation: Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation in Natural Tan 320
Highlighter/Corrector: Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer
Contour: NYX HD Concealer in CW08 (dark cocoa color)
Setting Powder: Neutrogena Setting Rice Powder Compact
Bronzer: Nars Bronzer in Laguna
Blush: Wet N' Wild Lipstick* (yes, lipstick) in Just Peachy

Eyes:

Mascara: Lancome Definicils Waterproof Mascara in Black, Maybelline Lash Stiletto Voluptuous in Black
Eyeshadow: Multiple reddy and purple shades from the BH Cosmetics 88 Matte Color Palette
Eyeliner: Milani UltraFine Liquid Eyeliner in Black, Maybelline Ultra Liquid Eyeliner in Black, Revlon Colorstay Gel Eyeliner in Black to rim the bottom lashline and waterline
Eyebrows: Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Mousse in Taupe and Dark Brown, Ben Nye 12 Color Rouge and Shadow Palette and used the shadows Cork and Espresso to set the Tarte mousse in place and from budging

Lips:

Lipstick: Maybelline Superstay 14-Hour Lipstick in Beige Forgood

*Lipsticks can be great products to substitute for cream blushers, as they are cheaper alternatives and the lasting power is both amazing with pigmentation equivalent to that of a true cream blusher.
